I founded Axxel Marketing together with Wee Kiat, my university mate, back in 1997 while we were completing our undergraduate studies in NTU. Established in 1969, Straits Construction was a construction company founded by my father, Mr Wong Swee Chun. In 1983, the company branched out to property development under the brand name Hoi Hup Realty. I grew up with this business and officially joined after graduating from NUS.
